My name is John and I’m married to my lovely wife, Dawna. As President of Streams Ministries, I have the privilege of influencing Streams to fulfill God’s purpose for her, primarily through relationships and teaching. I love to cook and host friends for games. I redefine coffee snobbery for coffee snobs. My main spiritual gift is wisdom, which comes out in teaching quite a bit.
My name is Dawna and I have the privilege of serving alongside my husband John. Hospitality is how I give of my time, energy and talents to Streams. I love people and seeing them touched by God. When my body lets me you can find me on the pickleball court or showing off my skills in table tennis.
Some of my spiritual gifts are mercy, helps, and discernment.

John and Dawna Thomas were radically saved out of the drug culture in 1995. Personally mentored by John Paul Jackson, they’ve been on staff with or have worked alongside Streams Ministries since 2004. John pastored The Bridge Metrowest (planted by John Paul) for five years before he and Dawna stepped out into full-time itinerant ministry. After John Paul passed away, John began to work more closely with the Streams leadership team and in 2016 was asked to become the president of Streams Ministries.
With his background as a pastor and a minister in various settings around the world, John has a unique perspective on prophetic ministry and the global Body of Christ. He desires to see the Church rise up in her authority and in the full power of the Holy Spirit, and his passion for God’s heart undergirds everything he does. He wants to help the Bride of Christ respond with fervent devotion to the One who called her.
John authored Discerning & Responding to Prophecies, Dream Elements: An Alternative Dream Dictionary and co-authored The Art of Praying the Scriptures: A Fresh Look at Lectio Divina with John Paul Jackson and has also written courses on prophetic ministry, dream interpretation, and the Kingdom of God. As president of Streams Ministries, he ministers internationally to help restore the awe of God to a world that has lost its wonder. He and Dawna live outside of Dallas, Texas.

BISHOP BILL ATWOOD
- APOSTOLIC OVERSIGHT AT STREAMS CHURCH
After graduating from Emory University, Bill served as an Air Force pilot during the Vietnam war. He met Jesus on Easter Sunday 1972 and then went to seminary in New York and London at King’s College. A desire to help churches be healthy and faithful led him to get a Doctorate at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California.
As Bill’s former denomination abandoned the Bible, the Lord led him to Africa where faithful Bishops and Archbishops were impacting the world around them with Kingdom life. After working with these Archbishops for many years, Bill was consecrated as a Bishop in the Anglican Church of Kenya in 2007. He was instrumental in helping to form a faithful Anglican Province in North America that has grown to over 1,000 churches.
Bishop Bill has been married to Susan, the love of his life, for forty-nine years. In addition to providing oversight for Streams Church, Bishop Bill is producing discipleship materials for Muslim Background Believers (MBBs), as millions of Muslims are coming to faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
He has written many books, including: Are We There Yet?; A Banquet Seat and a Listening Ear; The General, the Boy, and Recapturing Joy; Here and Coming~ As it is in Heaven; Spiritual Journey~ Mountain Tops, Dark Nights, and Spiritual Deception.

JACK & PAT LEDBETTER

Jack and Pat Ledbetter married in 1982 and came into the Charismatic Renewal in 1987 through extraordinary encounters with the Holy Spirit while lay leaders in a Bible Church in the Dallas area. They trained in ministry in signs and wonders with a local Vineyard and at conferences at the Vineyard in Anaheim, California, under John Wimber where they first encountered John Paul Jackson.
They served on the mission field in Fiji under the authority of a native apostolic leader. Prior to serving at Streams Jack and Pat served at an independent church in Carrollton, Texas for 28 years (1990-2018) leading small groups, healing prayer teams and other roles of service.

JOANIE HIGLEY

I am Joanie and I live in the DFW Metroplex with my husband, Bob, of 47 years. I have three wonderful children and nine spunky grandchildren who bring immense joy, laughter, and fun to my life.
I am an Elder at Streams and love to serve the local body of Christ. One of my passionate motivations and desires is to encourage others to know His Word, hear His Voice, and go deeper into that place of intimacy with their Lord, utilizing prayer, teaching, and mentoring.
I also share God’s Love through Inner Healing sessions with individuals on their journey to freedom. A part of my calling is prophetic intercession for the church, our leaders, and our nation. I love the Lord and it is exciting and rewarding to walk this life in the Spirit.

My name is Daniel Burton and I am married to Christina, who is the real hero of our house. I currently live in the greater Dallas area and love to read, drink excellent (read expensive) coffee and talk about Jesus.
I am the Assistant Equipping Pastor here at Streams and I love to help empower the church to walk in the fulness of her calling. My main spiritual gifts are expressed through the prophetic into teaching, healing and prophecy.

My name is Sherrie Holland. I am mother to three beautiful daughters, nine amazing grandkids and one absolutely adorable great-grand. I live in McKinney, TX where I am involved with a global prayer ministry, and I believe deeply that prayer can shape history. With a calling to pray for Israel, I love traveling for prayer assignments and seeing how the Lord longs to make known His heart for this nation.
I am honored to work in accounting for Streams Ministries and serve also as Lead Intercessor, coordinating ongoing prayer. I have recently been mentored to be a Streams Teacher for The Art of Hearing God and look forward to what opportunities lie ahead. It is a privilege to be part of such a beautiful expression of people here at Streams, where community and growth is fostered through the Father’s love. My gifts are in administration, intercession, teaching, and also loving and encouraging people.

My name is Kathy and I am married to my sweet husband Octavio. I have three daughters, one son, and a beautiful granddaughter– my treasures. When I’m not enjoying the country life in Caddo Mills, you will find me sipping on a hot latte reading a good book or splurging on a yummy cheeseburger.
I enjoy spending time with friends over brunch and playing games that challenge my brain and cause me to laugh hysterically at myself. One of my greatest passions is worship through dance and movement.
My main spiritual gift is serving. I love being able to provide a place where people can feel loved and accepted through my role as Relational Coordinator for Streams Church and Streams Academy.

My name is Amanda and I am married to my favorite person, Gannon. Together, we have six beautiful children and three furbabies of the feline variety who are all quite adored. I am the Worship Director here at Streams.
My desire is that prophetic worship and intercession would meet orthodox truth to culminate in the manifest Presence of God abiding in the church and radically transforming the lives of all who come to Him.
On a personal note, am a massive book nerd and love solving Escape Rooms!
